The Doge's Palace requires a ticket for entry, which can be acquired on-site or online through the "Museum Pass" or the "Piazza San Marco Museums Pass". These passes also cover other museums of Venice (or specifically Piazza San Marco, in the second pass). The most convenient way to experience the Doge's Palace is through the Museum Pass, which lasts 6 months and includes 12 museums in Venice.

Piazza San Marco Museums

There is also the option to purchase a ticket that includes just the museums of Piazza San Marco (Doge's Palace, Correr Museum, National Archaeological Museum, Sale Monumentali della Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana), which is a little bit cheaper than the Pass and is discounted if purchased over 30 days before the visit, but it's a fixed date ticket.

Reduced tickets

Reduced Museum Passes are available to children between 6 and 14, students between 15 and 25, people over 65 and families with two adults and at least a child under 14. Children under 5 are entitled to free entry.

The "Piazza San Marco Museums" ticket has the same reductions plus an additional one for tickets purchased more than 30 days before the day of the visit.
