The Doge's Palace houses a core exhibition woven through its historic chambers, including grand spaces like the Sala del Maggior Consiglio, the Scrutiny Hall, and the former Doge's Apartments. These rooms display notable works such as Carpaccio's "Leone di San Marco" and Veronese's Dialettica, integrated into a layered architectural narrative stretching from Gothic foundations through Renaissance and Mannerist expansions.

常設展示のほかに、宮殿ではドージェの居室やスクルチーニオの間など、重要な場所で企画展を開催している。最近の例としては、「ヴェネツィア1600年」が挙げられる。Nascite e rinascite "では、この街の長い歴史と再生について考察し、アンセルム・キーファーの記念碑的なインスタレーション "Questi scritti, quando verranno bruciati, daranno finalmente un po' di luce "では、スクリティニー・ホールを詩的でサイトスペシフィックな視覚の旅へと変貌させた。

宮殿はまた、ドージェの礼拝堂や武器庫のようなスペースで、講演、パフォーマンス、プレゼンテーションなどを行う文化拠点としても機能している。最近のイベントは、マルコ・ポーロ没後700年を記念した演劇の見学から、18世紀のヴェネツィア貿易に関する会議、2024年のヴェネツィアガラス週間で展示されたサラ・レヴォルテッラのガラス彫刻「ラ・ディフェーザ」などの美術作品の展示まで多岐にわたる。
